Weight Loss Isn’t About Eating Less But Eating Right

knowledge about different kinds of diet and lifestyle approaches. During this period of time, I came to know about some interesting types of diet like the crash diet, fad diet, ketogenic diet, detox diet, weight watchers diet, zone diet and loads more! Sadly, every other diet advises some restrictions and/or omissions of many favourite foods. The point remained – when you want to follow a diet, you get a big list of food items to be avoided or omitted from your daily diet. But what if I tell you, weight reduction is not at all related to eating less, but it has everything to do with eating right.

Starvation, skipping breakfast or meal, is related to fat deposition in the body. Also, one should know that food cravings influence consumption of oily and sweet food which snowballs into weight gain. Hence, when you start starving yourself and avoid having a particular meal, you actually begin to put on. The omission of nutrients like protein, fat and carbohydrate starts to downplay the body’s normal system. Lack of protein in the diet results in muscle loss, and by adversely affecting your body’s overall function, it finally leads to obesity. On the other hand, low-fat intake is simultaneously related to the lack of good fat intake like MUFA and PUFA which are essential for weight reduction. One that should always be remembered is that omission of carbohydrate often makes you miss out on good fiber from the diet.

As we see, exclusion of a particular nutrient leads to an imbalance which is related to obesity and weight gain. So for weight loss, it is essential to consume all kinds of nutrients like Protein, Fat, and Carbohydrate along with Vitamins and Minerals. In addition, since starvation itself leads to obesity, the only way of sustainable weight loss is to eat all kinds of food items in sufficient and appropriate amounts.

So what is right for effective weight reduction and good health?

Here comes an interesting solution to weight-related issues. I would like to share with you the concept of YANA Diet, which would help you to reduce weight and your medicine intake by improving your health.

The objective of the YANA Diet lies on the fact – Weight loss is not about eating less but about eating right. YANA Diet represents 1000 YES and only 3 NO. The following are the three cardinal sins according to YANA Diet:

a. Eating Unhealthy Food

b. Eating at an Unhealthy Time

c. Eating in an Unhealthy Manner

It goes without saying that the combination of any two or three of the above is even more harmful to your health. YANA Diet allows you to consume thousands of different kinds of food items – just make sure, they are natural, local, seasonal and fresh produce. It asks you to eat in a moderate portion. It helps you to fall in love with your food instead of suffering from unnecessary fear or guilt.

As mentioned earlier, the three Nos viz. Eating Unhealthy Food, Eating at an Unhealthy Time and Eating in an Unhealthy Manner has been elaborated below:

Unhealthy food items

•    Unhealthy food refers to those food items which lose its natural nutrients because of wrong cooking practices and long storage time.

•    Long storage time reduces the nutrient content of food and makes them unhealthy.

•    Deep fried and overcooked food should be avoided. Reusing the used oil is also considered unhealthy.

•    Excess sugar consumption should be barred.

Unhealthy time

•    An unhealthy eating time means the improper gap between two meals. Our system requires at least 2 hours for digestion, so any food gap of more than 4 hours and less than 2 hours fall under unhealthy eating time. YANA Diet recommends eating every 2 hours.

•    Also, an interval of 2 hours between your dinner and bedtime must be maintained.

Unhealthy manner

•    According to YANA Diet, unhealthy eating manner refers to the consumption of food in large portion sizes.

•    Moreover, the overlapping of two meals, binge eating, eye hunger, loss of concentration during eating also falls under this category.

•    YANA Diet recommends eating in moderate portion sizes with full concentration.

After going through all these valuable information, you are now free to consume anything and everything you want as long as you keep yourself away from the three unhealthy habits stated above. Start loving your food and your health. Avoid or rather stop experimenting with your health because even though the phrase ‘health is wealth’ sounds clichéd, nothing can be truer than this. Follow YANA Diet to reduce your weight and your medicinal intake and improve your overall health. Nutrition in Food is God. So stop fearing God, Love and worship God and God will bless you. Start your weight loss journey with YANA Diet.
