- Make sure to include foods which are rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, beta carotene and riboflavin. Other nutrients like magnesium, zinc, copper, manganese, and selenium are also essential and need to be taken in optimal amounts through a balanced diet and/or supplements.
- Turmeric contains a powerful healing compound called curcumin. It has proven to be useful in the treatment of cough and asthma caused due to polluted air. ½ tsp turmeric powder mixed with ½ tsp of ghee will work wonders for these conditions.
